Architect - Lifestyle - Senior

Location: In-person in the Houston, Texas area, United States. Candidates open to relocating to the area may apply.

What you will do

• Lead architects and designers in delivering architectural projects from concept through construction and post-occupancy.
• Coordinate communication among clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, permitting officials, and project teams.
• Resolve complex technical, design, detailing, and constructability issues.
• Direct the production of drawings, specifications, project manuals, and construction administration documentation.
• Conduct on-site observations, document site reviews, and oversee compliance with contracts and design intent.
• Support project financial performance, proposals, contracts, client relationships, and team development.

Requirements

• Registered Architect license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program required.
• 10+ years of related experience; experience with senior living and residential projects is preferred.
• Expert knowledge of Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software.
• Strong knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, standards, structures, and the complete project lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organization, project management, and client relationship skills.

Nice to have

• Demonstrated success on senior living and residential projects.
• Experience managing concurrent projects at different stages of development.
