Finance Manager, Technology FP&A

Location: San Francisco, California; hybrid schedule with in-office work required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Annual base salary: $143,000–$197,000 for candidates in California outside the San Francisco Bay Area, Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington; $128,000–$176,000 for other applicable locations. Additional equity, bonus, and benefits may apply.

What you will do

• Partner with technology leadership on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range strategic planning.
• Evaluate and stress-test acquisition valuation and financial models, lead financial diligence, and support post-merger integration and synergy tracking.
• Translate deal-stage models into operational budgets, Chart of Accounts structures, and FP&A tracking mechanisms.
• Model pricing, packaging, new product introductions, enterprise deals, discount structures, multi-year terms, and margin impacts.
• Develop scalable unit-economics and profitability models incorporating cloud and infrastructure costs.
• Improve FP&A processes and systems while delivering actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of FP&A experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Experience with M&A deal-model review, financial diligence, operating-model conversion, and post-merger integration.
• Proficiency with FP&A systems; advanced Excel or Google Sheets and strong PowerPoint or Google Slides skills.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, communication, influencing, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with AI tools and their implementation in workflows.

Nice to have

• Anaplan or Workday experience.
• MBA, Big Four accounting, or investment banking experience.
• Experience in a high-growth technology, software, or SaaS organization.
