Senior Software Engineer (AdTech)

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina

What you will do

• Design and implement application architecture across infrastructure, backbone services, and user interfaces.
• Develop and evolve high-throughput systems processing more than 1 billion transactions and several hundred gigabytes of data daily.
• Analyze application architecture, business workflows, performance challenges, and large-scale data processing requirements.
• Build, test, and continuously deploy solutions and prototypes to production.
• Ensure the reliability of production applications and define development standards with R&D managers.
• Provide technical training and support to developers across multiple R&D teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline is required.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated large-scale systems experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience processing large volumes of data in production systems and addressing large-scale performance issues.
• Strong understanding of load distribution, data storage strategies, and system architecture at scale.
• Strong analytical, creative, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• Passion for technology and software quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, dataframes, MapReduce, Spark, Pandas, or Polars.
• Experience with workflow management tools such as Argo or Airflow.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, React, Node.js, web servers, or client-side development.
