Backend Team Lead (Scanner)

Location: 100% remote from Argentina, with standard daily availability and reasonable working-hours overlap with Israel and EU teams.

What you will do

• Lead execution across multiple workstreams and own sprint planning and delivery quality.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and customers to remove blockers and manage dependencies.
• Design scalable, reliable backend features and participate in high-scale cloud development using AWS and MongoDB.
• Contribute hands-on to implementation, code reviews, and technical decisions from initial design through production.
• Coach engineers, improve team velocity, identify skill gaps, and support individual growth.
• Lead customer-facing technical sessions and discussions about domain enhancements and new features.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in Node.js and practical familiarity with AWS.
• Experience with scalable, cloud-based systems and end-to-end feature delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to lead a global team and explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for applying AI tools and workflows to improve developer experience and system performance.

• Experience with React.
• Experience with Python.
