Senior Backend Engineer (Agentic Pentest)

Location: 100% remote, based anywhere in Argentina; reasonable working-hours overlap with Israel and EU teams required.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and engineering teams on architecture and requirements.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot production issues and minimize downtime.
• Lead code reviews, improve engineering practices, and mentor junior engineers.
• Continuously improve system design, reliability, and development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience building scalable, production-grade systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
• Active, proficient use of AI tools such as Copilot and LLMs to improve coding workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
