What you will do
- Design and implement scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and Engineering teams on architecture and requirements.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot production issues and minimize downtime.
- Lead code reviews, improve engineering practices, and mentor junior engineers.
- Continuously improve system design, reliability, and development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- Proficient use of AI tools such as Copilot and LLMs to improve coding workflows and learning.
- Strong experience building scalable, production-grade systems.
- Proficiency in Node.js and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and strong problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
