Backend Team Lead (Scanner)

Location: 100% remote from Argentina, with reasonable working-hours overlap with Israel and EU teams.

What you will do

• Lead execution across multiple workstreams and own sprint planning and delivery quality.
• Coordinate dependencies with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and customers.
• Design scalable, reliable backend features and contribute hands-on to cloud-based development using AWS and MongoDB.
• Conduct code reviews and guide technical decisions from initial design through production.
• Coach and mentor engineers, identify skill gaps, and improve team velocity.
• Lead customer-facing technical discussions and domain-related product planning.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in Node.js and hands-on familiarity with AWS.
• Experience with React is preferred; Python experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage project execution and deliver end-to-end features in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to lead a global team and explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in applying AI tools and workflows to improve developer experience and system performance.
