Staff Product Manager (AI)

Location: Milan, Italy; on-site role based in the Milan office.

hirify.global is building an AI connectivity and unified API platform for securing, managing, governing, and scaling API and AI traffic across models and clouds.

What you will do

• Own the product direction for AI Management modules covering models, context, agentic harnesses, guardrails, evaluation, and policies.
• Define requirements, write product specifications, prioritize the backlog, and drive feature delivery with engineering.
• Coordinate cross-product infrastructure and dependencies across AI Management and the broader hirify.global platform.
• Own roadmaps, balance feature development with technical debt and infrastructure work, and make scope and prioritization trade-offs.
• Align engineering, design, product marketing, leadership, and distributed stakeholders across teams and time zones.
• Support customer-facing calls, product marketing, and sales enablement activities as needed.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of product management experience owning and shipping technical products.
• Experience with product delivery across distributed teams and cross-team dependencies.
• Ability to translate ambiguous technical and infrastructure problems into clear product requirements and specifications.
• Clear, proactive written and verbal communication across functions and seniority levels.
• Strong project management skills, including tracking work, surfacing blockers, and maintaining roadmap delivery.
• Technical familiarity with MCP servers, transport protocols, request routing, data plane architecture, and infrastructure trade-offs.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI products, AI agents, AI gateways, LLM routing, AI observability, prompt management, guardrails, MCP servers, A2A, and cost or quality optimization.
• Familiarity with enterprise platform engineering, data planes, control planes, Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, or platform engineering workflows.
