What you will do

• Define high-impact analytical challenges with business stakeholders in the energy sector, including asset monitoring and predictive systems.
• Translate domain challenges into structured problem frames aligned with business priorities.
• Set success criteria, metrics, and evaluation frameworks for analyses, experiments, and models.
• Assess analytical results to verify that solutions deliver measurable business value.
• Reframe infeasible or low-value questions into achievable analytical opportunities.
• Ensure conclusions are robust, interpretable, and actionable for decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience with data-driven insights, analytics, modeling, or diagnostics.
• Experience defining technical or product problems around clear business value.
• Strong problem-structuring, analytical thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to work with uncertain and incomplete information and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Technical fluency when working with data teams; coding is not required.

Nice to have

• Experience in energy, utilities, or industrial assets.
• Familiarity with machine learning or statistical modeling.
