Project Procurement Manager (Strategic Sourcing/Supply Chain): Developing ABB Denmark's project procurement framework and leading procurement activities from tendering through project execution with an accent on supplier strategy, governance, and commercial value creation. Focus on building strategic supplier relationships, managing procurement risks, and coordinating stakeholders and procurement specialists across complex projects.

Location: Hybrid role based at hirify.global offices in Ballerup or Middelfart, Denmark, with the possibility of working from home a few days per week.

What you will do

  • Lead and develop Project Procurement Specialists supporting tendering and project execution.
  • Define and implement hirify.global Denmark's project procurement framework, governance, processes, and best practices.
  • Build strategic partnerships with key suppliers and drive early supplier involvement in tenders and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with sales, tendering, engineering, project management, and regional procurement teams.
  • Lead procurement activities from the tender phase through project execution, aligning with project schedules and commercial targets.
  • Manage supplier performance, commercial risks, negotiations, and value-creation opportunities across the supply chain.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in project procurement, strategic sourcing, and/or supply chain management.
  • Experience leading a procurement function and coordinating procurement professionals in a project-based environment.
  • Experience establishing project procurement organizations, frameworks, or governance models.
  • Experience working with sales, tendering, project execution, and strategic supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of supplier risk management, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
  • Professional written and spoken English is required.
