Process Engineer V (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite role. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $163,000–$224,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the practical application of scientific theory and complex process development for product lines.
• Research, develop, and implement new products, extensions, and enhancements.
• Collect and analyze process data, characterize hardware, measure film properties, and troubleshoot engineering issues.
• Resolve complex process engineering issues with key customers and address high-value problems.
• Lead alpha engineering programs and manage alpha and beta product releases.
• Work with R&D teams, vendors, and suppliers while contributing to strategic planning.

Requirements

• Broad, comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, and technologies within the relevant engineering field.
• Experience leading highly visible multidisciplinary projects or initiatives and providing technical thought leadership.
• Ability to identify and solve highly complex problems using innovative methods.
• Ability to influence internal and external business or regulatory matters.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with senior management, customers, regulators, vendors, and suppliers.
• Must work in Santa Clara, California; the role is not presented as remote or hybrid.
