Manufacturing Technician 2 (Semiconductor)

Location: Livermore, California, United States; onsite clean-room manufacturing

Salary: $22.10–$29.03 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Perform production activities in a clean-room environment while following safety, quality, gowning, and contamination-control procedures.
• Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment and production systems.
• Monitor equipment and process data, make online adjustments, and maintain accurate production documentation.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate complex problems to engineering or maintenance teams.
• Support engineers with tests, trials, experiments, data collection, root-cause analysis, yield improvement, and new product development.
• Coach and guide less experienced technicians while promoting consistent safety and procedural standards.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of related technician or operative experience.
• Experience with clean-room operations and established manufacturing procedures.
• Equipment setup, calibration, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Computer literacy, Microsoft Office skills, mathematics, attention to detail, and technical problem-solving ability.
• Manual dexterity and ability to work with small or delicate components, microscopes, precision measurement equipment, and specialty tools.
• Ability to stand frequently and perform repetitive hand motions in a clean-room manufacturing setting.
