Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Onsite in Baltimore, Maryland, United States

Salary: $33.12–$44.51 per hour, plus a 10% bonus target

What you will do

• Maintain and repair equipment, piping systems, valves, traps, pumps, and other plant machinery.
• Install, replace, and troubleshoot industrial plant equipment and basic piping systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and operate hand and power tools safely and competently.
• Identify, report, and correct unsafe working conditions while complying with environmental and company regulations.
• Participate in on-scene work under direction and contribute to related team activities.
• Work overtime and participate in a rotating on-call schedule covering nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Ability to pass a company-provided pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds, climb and tolerate heights up to 100 feet, and work in heat at an industrial production plant.
• Ability to walk, stand, lift, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and reach as required.

• 6G Welding Certification.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
