Maintenance Mechanic II

Location: Onsite in Spokane Valley, Washington, United States. Day shift is 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with availability for alternative shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Salary: $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience, plus a discretionary bonus and stock options.

What you will do

• Inspect industrial equipment daily and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, presses, kilns, automated systems, mobile equipment, and pumps.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and complete timely repairs to support production operations.
• Perform manual machining, including boring, keyway cutting, facing, turning, broaching, honing, fly cutting, and threading.
• Complete custom metal fabrication and equipment modifications.
• Operate and maintain forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and hoists while following LOTO and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of relevant industrial maintenance experience or technical training, plus a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience maintaining industrial equipment, mechanical drive systems, shop tools, and facilities.
• Hands-on proficiency with lathes, mills, broaches, hones, MIG welding, and general metal fabrication; TIG welding is a plus.
• Knowledge of CMMS, LOTO procedures, blueprints, schematics, SOPs, and basic plumbing and electrical work, including three-phase motor wiring.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely, hold a valid driver's license, supply basic personal tools, and wear required PPE.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and work in varying temperatures and environments containing dust and chemicals.
