New Connectivity Design Hub Engineer (Connectivity)

Location: Manching, Germany; based in the new Manching Design Office

What you will do

• Define and design connectivity architectures for tactical datalinks, Satcom, communications managers, and C2 links.
• Support mainly German customer meetings and generate top-level requirements.
• Align connectivity architecture with domain strategy and national programme requirements.
• Support supplier selection, including RFP and RFI preparation and analysis with Procurement.
• Define and validate L1/L2/L3 requirements, maintain traceability and coverage, and support system testing.
• Support interface definition for interfacing systems and equipment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Communications, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience with connectivity systems such as Satcom, as well as system design and development.
• Knowledge of systems engineering, connectivity, tactical datalinks, Satcom, or architecture definition.
• Fluent English and German at C1 level required.
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
