What you will do

• Own engineering modules and systems within larger ground infrastructure projects, including status reporting, issue escalation, and stakeholder requirements management.
• Identify project risks and coordinate, plan, and drive design and commissioning activities with design engineers.
• Develop harmonized design approaches, incorporate lessons learned, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards through design reviews.
• Support procurement and delivery of process plant engineering systems and services.
• Contribute technical expertise to design reviews and advise on rocket propulsion aspects of test and launch facility design.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and coordinate across Propulsion Technology, Launch Vehicle, and related departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Process, Chemical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in aerospace, oil and gas, energy, chemical industry, engineering services, or a similar field.
• In-depth knowledge of systems engineering approaches and tools for facility and space systems.
• Knowledge of rocket propulsion test facility design or basic experience operating such facilities.
• Knowledge of thermodynamic and fluid mechanical processes, cryogenic systems, high- and low-pressure gas systems, and relevant industry standards.
• Fluent English required. Experience with project management tools and process or operational safety is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with MS Visio, Jira, Confluence, CoolProp, or Python.
• Fluent German.
