What you will do

• Handle marine, auto, property, and general liability claims.
• Inspect losses and review claims to determine appropriate adjustment parameters.
• Meet with clients and investigate, evaluate, and negotiate complex claim resolutions.
• Attend depositions, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Retain and monitor outside adjusters, appraisers, and other experts.
• Communicate with management and underwriting teams on larger and more complex claims.

Requirements

• 5+ years of general liability insurance claims experience, specialty claims adjusting experience, or a combination of both.
• Claims adjusting license required in all operating states.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of specialty and general liability claims.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong project management, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle larger and more complex claims.
