ERS Claims Analyst (Insurance Claims)

Salary: $45,000–$60,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Support claim intake, submission and notice procedures, and document management for Executive Risk Solutions claims.
• Prepare and coordinate communications among clients, insurers, and the placement team.
• Manage claim tracking and calendar reminders for required follow-up.
• Attend carrier functions and develop relationships with carrier underwriters, managers, insurers, and other contacts.
• Support claims advocacy, coverage analysis, and negotiations with insurance carriers regarding defense arrangements and staffing.
• Represent IMA’s core values and contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to respond calmly, creatively, and quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and multiple applications.
• Ability to interpret insurance claims correspondence and understand applicable policy coverage and potential coverage defenses.

Nice to have

• Experience handling insurance claims, including claims submissions and policy requirements.
• Experience assisting with policyholder claims advocacy and carrier negotiations.
