Preventative Maintenance Shop Technician (Diesel Equipment)

Location: Mauston, Wisconsin, USA; on-site shop position. Regular shift: Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Compensation: $2,000 sign-on bonus; competitive wages and benefits.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment under the supervision of a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager.
• Inspect vehicle systems and identify equipment issues or malfunction sources using appropriate tools.
• Complete oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes, light repairs, and basic electrical work such as replacing lights.
• Follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common equipment faults.
• Complete applicable company training and other assigned maintenance duties.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Nice to have

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
• Automotive Service Excellence T8 Preventive Maintenance certification.
