Aircraft Technician (Aviation)

Location: Cincinnati General Offices, United States. Onsite role requiring rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with travel for aircraft-related training.

Salary: $103,700–$127,000 per year, plus potential bonus and benefits.

Procter & Gamble operates a Global Flight Operations aviation team supporting company-operated business aircraft.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and pre- and post-flight checks in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, and company policies.
• Diagnose reported defects to root cause, including work on aircraft systems and avionics.
• Support aircraft operations through towing, fueling, de-fueling, cleaning, dispatching, and returns.
• Occasionally perform Cabin Safety Attendant and Flight Technician duties on domestic and international flights.
• Maintain hangars, shops, tools, and specialty equipment, and participate in operational improvement projects.
• Work independently while maintaining complete documentation accuracy and compliance with technical standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Gulfstream or equivalent-category business jets and at least 2 years of turbine-powered aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA Certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• Experience with Federal Aviation Regulations, aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and pre- and post-flight inspections.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Ability to acquire and maintain a valid US Passport and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and aircraft technical publications.

Nice to have

• Gulfstream G650, G500, G600, G700, or G800 experience.
• Avionics troubleshooting, repair, and installation experience.
• Aero IT, NCCAT Aircraft Electronics Technician, Inspectors Authorization, or Certified Aviation Manager certification.
