Senior Aircraft Technician (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in Columbus, Mississippi, United States; 90% onsite

hirify.global Helicopters manufactures and maintains helicopters, including UH-72A Lakota and H-125 aircraft, for military, civil, and commercial customers.

What you will do

• Inspect, assemble, install, repair, replace, adjust, and align aircraft parts and components.
• Conduct operational checks and functional testing of aircraft systems.
• Troubleshoot aircraft equipment, furnishings, fire protection, fuel, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor, power plant, and engine control systems.
• Participate in aircraft flight tests and document required work.
• Perform delivery inspections, communicate with customers, and resolve issues identified during delivery.

Requirements

• At least six years of aviation maintenance experience.
• Current A&P license or 18 months of maintenance experience on hirify.global-manufactured helicopters.
• Background in aviation maintenance involving similar aircraft and systems.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be a US Person under the ITAR definition, such as a US citizen, green card holder, or person covered by an existing ITAR license.
• Ability to travel independently and at short notice when required.

• Personal protective equipment is required, including safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators or masks, and protective gloves as applicable.
• The role requires regular physical activity, including lifting up to 60 lb/28 kg and operating production tools.
