Senior Electrical Aircraft Technician (H125 FAL)

Location: Columbus, Mississippi, United States; 98% onsite. Candidates must be US Persons under ITAR: US citizens, green card holders, or individuals covered under an existing ITAR license.

hirify.global Helicopters manufactures and maintains helicopters, including H125 aircraft and UH-72A Lakota helicopters, at its Columbus manufacturing and assembly facility.

What you will do

• Assemble, install, repair, and replace aircraft electrical and electronic components and systems.
• Fabricate, repair, and install aircraft parts and perform helicopter maintenance and refurbishment work.
• Diagnose wiring issues and perform component function checks using specialized tools, measuring devices, and test equipment.
• Read blueprints, sketches, diagrams, vendor manuals, and service manuals to meet dimensions, tolerances, alignment, and other specifications.
• Coordinate with leads and other departments on schedules, parts, supplies, tools, and job requirements.
• Complete work records and ensure finished work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.

Requirements

• At least six years of avionics experience on aircraft; rotorcraft experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams and apply standard shop practices.
• Ability to independently assess wiring issues and install components.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Familiarity with common aviation tooling.
• US Person status under ITAR is required.
