Procurement Buyer

Location: Remote, based in the United States

Salary: $160,000 per annum

hirify.global is hiring for a growing organization focused on operational efficiency, strategic sourcing, and robust supply chain management.

What you will do

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions.
• Evaluate suppliers and lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, payment terms, and service conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, issue resolution, and risk mitigation.
• Analyze market trends, spend data, and industry benchmarks to identify savings and process improvements.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, inventory, and payments.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and improve procurement policies, systems, and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience as a Procurement Buyer, Category Manager, or strategic sourcing professional.
• Advanced negotiation, contract management, supplier evaluation, and strategic sourcing expertise.
• Experience with procurement software, e-sourcing platforms, and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work remotely from the USA and manage procurement activities autonomously.

Nice to have

• Experience managing indirect spend categories.
• CPSM or CIPS certification.
