What you will do

• Translate wireframes, low-fidelity schematics, and AI-generated prototypes into high-fidelity, production-ready visual designs.
• Apply typography, color, spacing, iconography, elevation, and layout-grid standards across product interfaces.
• Resolve ambiguous or incomplete design inputs and make sound visual design decisions.
• Prepare developer-ready Figma files with specifications, redlines, and component usage guidance.
• Partner with product designers, product managers, and engineers to maintain visual quality through delivery.
• Identify gaps in the CWAN Design System and propose, design, and document reusable components, tokens, patterns, and standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product or UI visual design experience with a portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout, color, and hierarchy.
• Deep fluency in Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, and design tokens or variables.
• Working knowledge of design systems, component libraries, documentation, and scalable design decisions.
• Ability to elevate wireframes, sketches, and AI-generated concepts into refined, standards-compliant interfaces.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including presenting design decisions to designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Experience designing dense, data-heavy professional workflows where precision and speed of comprehension are essential; proficiency with AI design tools including Figma AI, Figma Make, and Claude is expected.

Nice to have

• Experience designing financial services software, especially trading, research management, or risk management systems for front-office users.
• Direct experience contributing to a formal design system or component library.
• Front-end literacy in HTML and CSS, or experience with motion and interaction design.
• Familiarity with Claude Design and Claude Code prototypes.
