Senior Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Merrimack, New Hampshire, United States; occasional domestic travel required.

Salary: $99,000–$125,000 per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Drive FMEAs, identify critical-to-quality characteristics, and establish verification methods during product development.
• Analyze process data, confirm statistical process control, and lead troubleshooting when processes are not in control.
• Investigate quality issues and document corrective actions using 8D or similar structured methods.
• Lead Material Review Board actions, incoming inspection, and resolution of nonconforming materials.
• Track scrap, rework, and yield KPIs while leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain inspection equipment calibration, conduct supplier audits, and support ISO 9001 audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or another engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, root cause analysis, and statistical process control.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and guide performance improvements.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills and willingness to travel domestically occasionally.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma or another quality-related certification.
• Experience with ERP software such as Syteline.
• Exposure to CAD/CAE tools, preferably SolidWorks.
