What you will do

• Define, validate, and document manufacturing test plans and modify test fixtures and diagnostic hardware during new product introduction.
• Develop, pilot, and troubleshoot automated tool-level diagnostic tests using Python and Mayan.
• Lead failure investigations using 8D, CAPA, and 5 Whys, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze first-pass yield data, identify process anomalies, and optimize production metrics.
• Perform measurement systems analysis and Gage R&R studies to verify test station reliability.
• Partner with process and hardware design teams to integrate design-for-testability features into next-generation equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, mechatronics, applied physics, or a related discipline.
• 7–10+ years of engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing, complex medical equipment manufacturing, or high-tech aerospace or capital hardware.
• Hands-on experience with high-power RF generators, ultra-high vacuum environments, gas delivery systems, or precision optical and laser alignment mechanisms.
• Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, SEMI S2, SEMI S8, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficiency with Minitab, JMP, Python, and Mayan.
• Ability to work portions of each shift in fully suited cleanroom apparel and around heavy assembly machinery.
