Global Leave of Absence & Accommodations Leader

Location: US/Remote; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship. Up to 20% domestic and international travel may be required.

Expected compensation: $163,200–$224,400, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead the global Leave of Absence and Workplace Accommodations process strategy, governance, operating model, and long-term roadmap.
• Establish scalable service delivery standards while addressing country-specific statutory, regulatory, and works council requirements.
• Manage the strategic relationship with the outsourced leave administration partner through SLAs, scorecards, quarterly business reviews, remediation plans, audits, and service improvement.
• Partner with Total Rewards, HR, Legal, Payroll, HRIS, Employee Relations, Occupational Health, Compliance, and business leaders.
• Improve employee and manager journeys through service design, process simplification, automation, AI-enabled solutions, knowledge management, and digital employee experience enhancements.
• Lead Workday user acceptance testing, operational sign-off, data-driven improvement initiatives, and development of the global team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 10 years of progressive relevant experience, or a high school diploma with at least 14 years of progressive relevant experience.
• At least five years of experience leading enterprise-wide Leave of Absence and Workplace Accommodations programs.
• Experience establishing governance, quality controls, and compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience managing outsourced service providers and vendor governance frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of leave, disability, accommodation, and employment regulations across global markets.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Workday or other HR technology and case management platform experience.
• Experience leading HR transformation, process redesign, shared services, or digital HR initiatives.
• Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or project management certification.
• Strong analytical, change management, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
