People Experience Lead (AI)

Location: North America, California; must be US-based. Work-from-home options and flexible hours are available.

What you will do

• Partner with the Chief People Officer to shape and deliver the people vision, strategy, and priorities for the US team.
• Provide end-to-end generalist support across onboarding, performance, development, remuneration, engagement, and offboarding.
• Advise and coach squad leads and managers on performance, difficult conversations, team health, and capability.
• Own and improve people programmes, policies, benefits, leave, and multi-state US employment compliance.
• Partner with credentialing, licensing, privileging, and physician recruitment stakeholders so people processes align across the US clinical organisation.
• Coach the People Experience team, lead engagement and wellbeing initiatives, and use people data to guide decisions and resolve sensitive employee-relations matters.

Requirements

• At least five years of generalist HR or People experience, including senior or lead-level experience.
• US-based with hands-on multi-state US employment experience across employee relations, compliance, benefits, and leave.
• Experience supporting radiologists, physicians, or other licensed clinicians in a health system, teleradiology, or telehealth setting.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and executives to shape and deliver people strategy.
• Deep experience across the employee lifecycle, including talent, performance, remuneration, engagement, and employee relations.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, judgement, discretion, and prioritisation skills, including the ability to build capability without direct management authority.

Nice to have

• Experience in a health system or rapidly scaling healthcare or technology organisation.
• Teleradiology or telehealth experience.
• Tertiary qualification in HR, business, psychology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with squad or agile operating models, non-hierarchical structures, and multi-entity MSO/PC structures.
• Experience with people analytics and data-driven people decision-making, plus interest in AI-native organisations.
