Product Designer

Location: Cambridge, United Kingdom; hybrid working with office attendance once every two weeks.

Salary: £40,000–£55,000 per year plus benefits.

What you will do

• Design workflows, interfaces, and interactions for a complex technical B2B product from early exploration through production.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, a technical lead, and other designers throughout delivery.
• Use qualitative and quantitative research and regular user testing to guide product decisions.
• Contribute to Honeycomb, the shared UI component and pattern library.
• Coach and mentor junior team members while shaping tools used by DBAs and DevOps teams to manage database risk.

Requirements

• Experience designing software or database development tools, or other complex technical B2B products.
• A portfolio showing a user-centred design process from research through shipped solutions.
• Ability to turn ambiguous research findings into clear, well-reasoned design recommendations.
• Experience working in cross-functional agile teams with product managers, engineers, and designers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
