What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling and group sessions.
• Orient patients to treatment programs and provide intake, readmission, crisis intervention, and follow-up services.
• Collect and assess social, educational, economic, and vocational information.
• Develop and revise treatment plans, maintain patient records, and complete inter-agency documentation.
• Make referrals and coordinate care with community providers.
• Provide staff training, participate in regulatory and accrediting activities, and perform OBOT services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related Human Services field required.
• Knowledge of human behavior, substance abuse populations, treatment planning, and human social services.
• Ability to make sound decisions when handling confidential and sensitive issues.
• Ability to respond quickly and work effectively with patients and colleagues in stressful situations.
• Compliance with applicable federal and state certification, licensure, degree, and regulatory requirements.
• Availability for early morning hours Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and rotating Saturdays.
