What you will do

• Commission steam and gas turbine generator sets, electrolysers, battery storage systems, and related power plant components.
• Commission turbines from individual components through complete turbine and auxiliary systems.
• Prepare and execute functional tests, logic interlock verifications, and operational readiness tests.
• Document equipment condition, quality results, commissioning activities, and required reports.
• Troubleshoot and analyze customer problems, propose remedial measures, and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with other engineers and work independently on customer projects at international sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Several years of professional experience as a Steam Turbine Commissioning Engineer.
• Ability to understand technical equipment and work from technical documentation.
• Basic knowledge of general power plant technology.
• Excellent German and English for everyday professional communication.
• Analytical, proactive, resilient, and able to work independently under pressure, multitask, and solve problems in complex environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in power plant operations and maintenance.
• Siemens steam turbine operations and maintenance knowledge.
