Lounge Senior Supervisor (Hospitality)

Location: Hounslow, United Kingdom; onsite at the Qatar Lounge at Heathrow Airport

What you will do

• Manage the daily operation of the Qatar Lounge, supervising Lounge Hosts, Front of House staff, and Lounge Chefs.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality food, beverages, guest service, cleanliness, and lounge presentation.
• Organize schedules, roster changes, shift plans, supplier and department coordination, and operational paperwork.
• Monitor buffet production, stock levels, next-day preparations, food wastage, and service specifications.
• Handle passenger feedback, suggestions, and complaints while recommending wines, spirits, meals, and beverages.
• Support staff performance through one-to-one meetings, appraisals, coaching, and team leadership.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for food and motivation to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Professional presentation, positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to support the team directly.
• Written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom is required. Availability must cover evenings, weekends, public holidays, and other operational changes because the lounge operates seven days a week.
