TL;DR
Intern / Working Student Talent Acquisition (Deep Tech): Supporting sourcing, screening, interview coordination, recruiting operations, and employer branding for specialised fusion-energy science and engineering roles with an accent on deep-tech talent communities, candidate pipelines, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on identifying rare technical candidates, maintaining accurate Greenhouse data, and building targeted outreach across scientific and engineering networks.

What you will do
- Source specialised scientific and technical candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, academic networks, publications, conferences, and talent communities.
- Review applications, support pre-screening, and participate in initial candidate conversations.
- Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, scientists, and engineers on job profiles and targeted sourcing strategies.
- Coordinate multi-stage interviews and support clear, professional candidate communication.
- Maintain candidate pipelines, status updates, recruiting data, and KPI reporting in Greenhouse.
- Support employer branding, university and PhD/postdoc outreach, onboarding coordination, and recruiting improvement projects.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme, ideally in Business, Psychology, HR, STEM, or a related field.
- Genuine interest in recruiting and talent acquisition; previous recruiting experience is helpful but not required.
- Curiosity about complex scientific and technical profiles across physics, engineering, and deep tech.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, communication, initiative, patience, and persistence.
- Excellent English communication skills required; German is a plus.
- Availability for approximately six months, starting as soon as possible.
Nice to have
- Affinity for science, engineering, or deep tech.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, or Asana.
- German language skills.
