Transportation Design-Build Manager (Transportation Infrastructure)

Location: Dallas, Texas; hybrid. Travel to client sites, project locations, and business meetings is required as needed.

What you will do

• Lead transportation design-build projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, constructors, subconsultants, and specialty contractors.
• Serve as the primary client contact for transportation agencies, municipalities, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, project controls, contracts, change orders, and claims avoidance.
• Direct design integration and constructability efforts while partnering with construction leadership on cost and schedule improvements.
• Lead pursuits, proposal development, executive reporting, team mentoring, and business development for transportation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience delivering transportation infrastructure projects, including significant design-build experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with large-scale highway, roadway, bridge, transit, or other transportation infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of design-build delivery, transportation agency processes, project controls, scheduling, budgeting, risk, and quality management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and project management software skills.
