Senior Construction Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Richland, Washington, United States; periodic site visits required in the Tri-Cities Washington area and experience in Eastern Oregon and Washington required

Salary: $100,000–$145,000 per year

What you will do

• Monitor construction progress through periodic site visits and review completed work against approved drawings and specifications.
• Review contractor payment requisitions, project budgets, cost reports, contingencies, schedules, and construction disbursements.
• Review contracts, subcontracts, bonds, insurance, change orders, lien waivers, and qualification statements.
• Assess drawings, specifications, permits, zoning approvals, surveys, utility approvals, engineering reports, and code compliance documentation.
• Prepare project status reports, construction risk assessment reports, and recommendations for releasing construction funds.
• Coordinate with cost advisory specialists on estimates and quantity take-offs.

Requirements

• Seven years of full-time professional construction and/or project and construction management experience required.
• At least five years coordinating complex projects with construction values above $20 million.
• Experience managing construction projects in Eastern Oregon and Washington required.
• Experience across the full preconstruction and construction lifecycle, including projects valued from $7 million to $50 million or more.
• Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, architectural drawings, permitting, construction delivery methods, contracts, leases, MS Project, and project management information systems.
• BS/BA degree required; architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred. OSHA 10-hour minimum required.
