Director, Estimating (Construction)

What you will do

• Lead client development and oversee large-scale construction projects from planning through delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation with internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and manage multidisciplinary project teams, including project managers, cost managers, engineers, schedulers, and safety managers.
• Oversee project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-control measures.
• Manage relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders while resolving issues and maintaining client satisfaction.
• Drive standardization, automation, and consistent project and program delivery standards.

Requirements

• Experience leading large-scale projects with significant people-management responsibilities.
• Degree or comparable experience in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related construction discipline.
• Chartered status or membership in a registered construction professional body such as SCSI or RICS.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing employees.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with teams and clients.
