HR Business Partner (Aerospace)

Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, UK; hybrid home/office working may be considered where possible. Occasional travel may be required. Candidates must be able to work in the UK without restrictions and successfully complete the required level of UK National Security Vetting.

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders and stakeholders on strategic and operational people matters.
• Coach, influence, and challenge leaders to improve people management and decision-making.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, HR policies, employment legislation, and governance.
• Support talent acquisition, succession planning, workforce planning, onboarding, and career development.
• Lead HR projects, organisational change initiatives, continuous improvement, and employee engagement activities.
• Use HRIS data, people analytics, and HR metrics to inform decisions and maintain accurate employee records.

Requirements

• Proven HR Business Partner experience and strong generalist HR expertise.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Ability to build relationships, coach leaders, influence stakeholders, and challenge constructively.
• Commercial, analytical, proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
• UK work authorisation without restrictions and successful completion of the required UK National Security Vetting.

Nice to have

• CIPD Level 7 qualification.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or operational environments.
• Experience in a large corporate organisation and working with Centres of Excellence.
