Human Resources Business Partner (Manufacturing)

Location: Peterborough, United Kingdom; onsite five days a week

Salary: £49,519–£58,000 per annum

Global manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, engines, industrial gas turbines, and diesel-electric locomotives, with an industrial power systems division developing and manufacturing engines and green energy solutions.

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Provide guidance on workforce planning, organisational design, succession planning, talent management, and employee relations.
• Coach managers and support leadership capability, employee engagement, team effectiveness, and performance management.
• Use workforce data, HR metrics, and business insights to identify trends and recommend solutions.
• Lead and support change management initiatives and annual HR cycles, including performance reviews, salary planning, and talent assessments.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Centres of Excellence on hiring, compensation, benefits, learning, development, and diversity and inclusion programmes.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of organisational structure, culture, values, operating principles, and business alignment.
• Working knowledge of decision-making, critical thinking, data gathering, and reporting.
• Extensive experience in interpersonal relationships and collaborative work with varied stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of employee relations and legal requirements concerning employee negotiations.
• Working knowledge of HR policies, standards, procedures, and governance requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide strategic and operational HR guidance.
