Vice President, People (Healthcare)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States. Hybrid arrangement with at least 60% or 24 hours of the work week on-site; in-office presence is required at least three days per week. Tuesdays and Thursdays are encouraged on-site days, and domestic travel is required.

Annual base salary: $236K–$339K, plus potential bonus or incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the People Business Partner and Employee Relations organizations.
• Set the vision, priorities, and operating model for strategic people partnership across the business.
• Advise executives on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, change management, workforce planning, and organizational health.
• Oversee complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, organizational changes, compliance, and risk management.
• Lead workforce planning, performance management, promotion processes, talent reviews, and succession planning.
• Serve on the People Leadership Team and act as HR Site Leader for the Sunnyvale headquarters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; an advanced degree is strongly preferred.
• 20+ years of progressive HR experience, including 10+ years in senior executive HR leadership roles.
• Expertise in talent management, organizational effectiveness and transformation, workforce planning, leadership development, performance management, succession planning, and employee relations.
• Proven success coaching senior executives, leading organizational change, and developing high-performing HR teams.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and risk management.
• Executive-level in-office presence is required at least three days per week in Sunnyvale.
