Procurement Manager (SaaS)

Location: London Bridge; the role can be based in the UK or South Africa.

What you will do

• Deliver and evolve the procurement strategy and operating model across technology and non-technology supplier spend.
• Own the supplier lifecycle from sourcing and due diligence through contracting, renewal, and exit.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, multi-year commitments, service protections, and exit assistance with major SaaS, cloud, and infrastructure vendors.
• Maintain procurement policies, approval thresholds, category ownership, supplier registers, and risk-tiered review processes.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, Technology, and senior leadership on vendor decisions and compliance.
• Use automation and AI, including agentic AI, to streamline intake, assessment, data extraction, and renewal tracking.

Requirements

• Substantial procurement experience, typically six years or more, including direct experience with SaaS, cloud, and technology vendor contracts.
• Experience negotiating complex, high-value contracts within established templates and playbooks.
• Working familiarity with data protection, information security assurance, sanctions screening, anti-bribery, and modern slavery requirements.
• Direct experience negotiating with vendor commercial teams and managing stakeholders up to C-level.
• Strong analytical skills, commercial judgment, risk assessment ability, and discretion with sensitive pricing and contract information.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field; CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent is desirable.

• Experience applying AI-enabled or agentic AI solutions to procurement workflows.
• CIPS, CPSM, or an equivalent professional qualification.

Hiring process

• 45-minute first-stage interview with the Head of Legal via Zoom, followed by a written task.
• 60-minute final interview with the CFO, CTO, and Head of Legal.
