Senior Procurement Specialist, UK (AI Infrastructure)

Location: London, UK — onsite with full-time office presence five days a week; not a remote or hybrid position.

hirify.global is building a full-stack AI cloud spanning data centers, hardware, and a cloud platform for AI teams.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end procurement for UK operations, including sourcing components and servers, issuing RFQs, evaluating quotations, negotiating pricing, placing orders, and reconciling invoices.
• Define sourcing strategies for hardware categories, develop suppliers, and build flexible supply options.
• Manage supplier performance, lead times, escalations, RMAs, and day-to-day vendor relationships.
• Coordinate data center logistics, customs clearance, freight forwarding, shipment tracking, and delivery issue resolution.
• Support CAPEX planning, procurement forecasting, contracts, supply agreements, and coordination with Finance, Legal, and the Finland-based procurement team.
• Maintain procurement documentation and monitor hardware pricing, availability, and supply trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management within hardware, technology infrastructure, or data center environments.
• Experience independently managing procurement from purchase request through delivery confirmation and invoice reconciliation.
• Strong negotiation skills covering hardware supply agreements, volume pricing, and delivery terms.
• Knowledge of international shipping, customs clearance, Incoterms, freight forwarding, and cross-border hardware logistics.
• Ability to review and manage commercial contracts and understand associated exposure.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English.

Nice to have

• Experience procuring GPU servers, AI accelerators, or data center infrastructure hardware.
• Familiarity with server ODMs and OEM procurement from Taiwan, Japan, or mainland China.
• Experience in a scaling startup or high-growth environment.
• Japanese or a major European language.
