Procurement Manager (Powder Metallurgy)

What you will do

• Lead strategic and operational procurement for the Powder Metallurgy Business Unit.
• Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality supply to production sites.
• Implement regional procurement strategies and improve local purchasing processes and supplier structures.
• Conduct price, contract, and commercial negotiations and conclude supplier agreements.
• Identify, qualify, develop, and manage suppliers, including performance and claims management.
• Lead, coach, and develop the local procurement team while collaborating with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and regional Procurement teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Several years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing, with solid technical understanding.
• Experience developing and implementing procurement and supplier strategies.
• Strong expertise in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
• Analytical, solution-oriented, communicative, and effective in negotiations.
• Fluency in German, Italian, and English is required.
