Salary: $100,000–$160,000 USD annually

What you will do
- Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities, and other commercial terms.
- Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, expedites, shortage recovery, and supplier performance KPIs.
- Translate forecasts, warranty data, and vehicle populations into replenishment and inventory plans.
- Manage engineering changes, part supersessions, substitutions, and end-of-life requirements.
- Prepare aftermarket parts for new vehicle launches and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Operations, Warranty, Finance, and Service Operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience.
- Experience managing supplier performance, purchase orders, delivery schedules, shortages, expedites, and inventory planning.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP platforms such as Oracle or SAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and the ability to manage competing, time-sensitive priorities.
Nice to have
- Automotive aftermarket experience, including BOMs, parts catalogs, ECOs, obsolete parts, and warranty-driven parts.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, corrective actions, and automotive quality systems.
- Experience with global multi-tier suppliers, should-cost analysis, competitive benchmarking, and launch readiness.
- Knowledge of automotive warehousing, distribution, freight, and aftermarket fulfillment.
