Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Product (Optical/Photonics)

Location: Onsite in Navanakorn, Pathum Thani, Thailand; work takes place in the office, engineering laboratory, cleanroom, and manufacturing-floor environments.

What you will do

• Own product definition, technical performance, and manufacturing execution for assigned cloud products.
• Act as the primary technical interface between Manufacturing and R&D on product-related matters.
• Lead technical analysis, issue resolution, risk assessment, corrective actions, and engineering-change implementation.
• Support product industrialization, NPI, product transfer, qualification, production ramp-up, and sustaining engineering.
• Maintain BOMs, drawings, specifications, configurations, and product documentation for manufacturing readiness.
• Improve product yield, quality, reliability, performance, and cost through data analysis, product optimization, and material evaluation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 6–10 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related role in high-technology manufacturing.
• Experience with NPI, product transfer, volume ramp, sustaining engineering, product lifecycle management, and configuration control.
• Knowledge of BOM management, engineering changes, product qualification, DfX, and structured problem-solving.
• Experience in optical, photonic, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Effective English communication is required for collaboration with local and global teams.
