Technical Application Consultant - PRO (Semiconductor)

Location: Seoul, South Korea. Hybrid work and flexible working hours are available according to internal policy; the role also requires on-site work at customer semiconductor fabs.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical authority and trusted advisor for PRO products, solutions, consumables, and accessories in the semiconductor segment.
• Conduct application feasibility studies, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept testing at customer fabs, cleanrooms, and R&D labs.
• Coordinate special projects, including supplier and instrument sourcing, project design, and execution.
• Troubleshoot customer applications and identify process improvements, product ideas, application aids, and customer-benefit opportunities.
• Build technical relationships with OEMs, end users, decision-makers, and QA/QC managers while supporting pre-sales and negotiations.
• Deliver technical training, seminars, webinars, and product demonstrations for internal sales teams, OEMs, and end users.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, product applications, and relevant regulatory compliance standards.
• Experience providing technical support for analytical, precision, or process-related products and solutions.
• Ability to conduct customer-facing feasibility studies, demonstrations, proof-of-concept testing, and application troubleshooting.
• Capability to coordinate projects, prepare cost estimates, analyze cost-benefit ratios, and propose equipment or process improvements.
• Ability to work with global R&D, product management, sales, service, OEM, and end-user stakeholders.
• Ability to follow customer site operating procedures and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
