DDP Installation Customer Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Pyeongtaek-NF Summit, South Korea; on-site customer equipment support with 75% travel

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques to assess equipment and resolve technical issues with support from senior engineers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and customers to understand process flows, requirements, roadmaps, and business challenges.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support smooth equipment operation.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or another equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet all on-site safety, environmental, and COVID-19 requirements.
