Production Technician II, Power Generation - 2nd Shift (Power Generation)

Location: Seguin, Texas, United States. Onsite production role on the 2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:18pm–2:48am, with overtime as required. Training takes place on the 1st shift until December 2026.

Starting wage: $19.50 per hour, plus a 10% 2nd-shift premium.

What you will do

• Align and secure engine components according to work instructions, schematics, and part prints.
• Install gaskets, seals, wires, bearings, hoses, covers, and visual components.
• Inspect parts and materials, conduct quality audits, and identify assembly defects.
• Perform torque audits, leak tests, visual inspections, and other engine quality checks.
• Support problem-solving, continuous improvement initiatives, and resolution of assembly-related challenges.
• Follow standard operating procedures, communicate process information to supervisors and managers, and collaborate across departments.

Requirements

• At least 4 months of experience in a manufacturing environment or an industry certification.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform repetitive operations while sitting or standing for prolonged periods.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Intermediate experience using computers, tablets, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with standard operating procedures or standard work, and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.; successful completion of background, drug, and medical screening is required.

Nice to have

• Experience reading complex assembly instructions and assembling products.
• Experience repairing or assembling similar electrical cabinets.
• Experience or certification operating forklifts, tuggers, or other powered equipment.
