Engineering Technician II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; 2nd shift; onsite technical and manufacturing work.

Salary: $21.50–$29.20

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical problems.
• Perform new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, and rework resulting from testing.
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on hirify.global platforms.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and engineering or manufacturing documentation.
• Compile logbooks and test procedures and generate quality notifications while following safety requirements.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to communicate information effectively and collaborate with integrated engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Ability to follow operating instructions, safety procedures, security policies, and required health and safety training.
• Availability to work onsite in Austin, Texas, on the 2nd shift.
