Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Spokane Valley, Washington, USA; onsite at the manufacturing facility

Salary: $22.00–$36.00 per hour, depending on maintenance level, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Install, repair, inspect, and troubleshoot industrial production equipment.
• Perform preventive, emergency, and routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and fluid replenishment.
• Use diagnostic tests, equipment drawings, manuals, hand tools, multimeters, torches, and plasma cutters to identify and resolve issues.
• Apply root cause analysis to equipment failures and support uninterrupted plant operations.
• Assist with equipment installations, critical spare-parts inventory, and vendor parts quotations.
• Support and train other maintenance technicians and coordinate communication between production and engineering.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience.
• Maintenance I: at least one year of repair and maintenance experience or a related technical school or associate degree.
• Maintenance II: at least three years of repair experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Maintenance III: at least six years of repair and maintenance experience, or a technical or associate degree plus four years of related experience.
• Knowledge of industrial production equipment, equipment documentation, hand tools, precision tools, and basic computer applications including Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally, and work around heat, dust, hazardous materials, and high noise with required PPE.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Forklift and manlift operation certification.
