Utility Engineer (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical utility systems in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environments.
• Provide technical support for chillers, boilers, Water for Injection, clean steam, and other critical clean utility equipment.
• Perform structured troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for equipment failures, performance issues, and operational deviations.
• Lead and manage change-control activities for new equipment, system modifications, and utility projects.
• Plan, execute, and review maintenance activities while maintaining equipment readiness and operational continuity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and Maintenance teams and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in facilities, utilities, maintenance, or engineering roles within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with clean utility systems, including chillers, boilers, Water for Injection, clean steam, and related equipment.
• Experience with equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and change-control activities.
• Knowledge of GMP requirements, engineering documentation, and change-management processes.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
